The Cooperative Research Facility Center (CRFC) was organized within Toyohashi University of Technology in April 2005 to contribute for improvement of technology and science. Activities of the CRFC are as follows:

  • Support for research and education at Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) and for neighboring community
  • Research and development for advanced technology
  • Support for industry-university joint research
  • Management of analysis equipments and machine tools
The CRFC consists of three divisions, that is, 1. Technology Development, 2. Instrumental Analysis, and 3. Manufacturing Technology. These divisions were established as an independent center in 1980, 1981 and 1982 respectively after the establishment of TUT in 1976. Under Prof. Yogaku Iwamoto, the director of the CRFC, the CRFC is managed by three associate professors, three research associates and three technical staff and one clerkly staff.
